High End Turntable System
Challenge
A very high end turntable company needed a motion control system for a high end, state-of-the-art turntable for their music aficionado customers. It was imperative that the system not generate any noise electrically or via vibration in the motor and turntable assembly. Precise and various speed control was also a requirement.
Solution
Trust Automation designed and implemented a full custom drive servo-controlled system capable of producing world class audio. The custom system offered a vacuum pump that pulled the vinyl down on the platter, meticulous speed control, and a consumer quality front panel interface and packaging.
Results
Our customer was able to offer the finished product as the most esteemed turntable available on the market sold to music professionals and connoisseurs. Sterophile Magazine 2006 awarded the customer with 2006 Product of the Year Award.
