The Trust Factor

By relying upon Trust Automation's mechanical, electrical, and software engineering disciplines, clients can respond quickly in their marketplace, while developing long-term production-worthy solutions. Trust Automation brings innovative ideas, AND reliable manufacturing engineering together, to provide complete turn-key systems.

This page contains summaries of some of the projects that Trust Automation has completed in Medical Robotics. These projects will give you some idea of the depth of experience that the Trust Automation Enginnering team brings to your project. From brainstorming the possiblities to solving the detailed enginnerring challenges in medical robotics our team can deliver - That's The Trust Factor!

Nanogen

Nanogen partnered with Trust Automation to develop an Automated Kinase Assay Development System Cancer Research Machine. The objective of this project was to build a system capable of insertion into existing lab automation lines, function as a standalone unit or be operated robotically. Trust Automation with its expertise in automation and robotics, plus its experience with medical robotics made them a perfect fit for this project.

Trust Automation helped develop a beta machine and four beta test site machines for process development. With the data they gathered from the field they were able to redesign the system into a final production unit for insertion into automated drug discovery lines.

Hycor Biomedical

For Hycor Biomedical Trust Automation helped develop the HY.TEC 288, an Automated Immunoassay System. This medical robotic project played well off of Trust Automation’s strengths in the development of automation system software. For the HY.TEC 288 they had to redesign software to include the ability to perform multiple assays with multiple antigens.

Trust successfully integrated into the system software the ability to perform multiple assays with multiple antigens using a redeveloped database engine. The Windows based interface was also redesigned to reflect the additional system capabilities.

Beckman Coulter

The medical robotic project Beckman Coulter brought to trust Automation was the development of a new high velocity centrifuge system for medical diagnostics. The system also needed to interface with a robotic sample analysis system.

Trust Automation developed motion control software and hardware to control the automated centrifuge. This enable coordination with a load/unload robot. This project required extensive work with an international team of engineers and companies to develop the final system.
