Ty Safreno
Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer

Ty Safreno, co-founder of Trust Automation, is Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer for the company. Serving as Chairman of the Board, Mr. Safreno oversees the company strategy and direction, driving continued growth. With an extensive background in industrial controls and a focus in motion control, Mr. Safreno successfully guided the product development and engineering service aspects of Trust Automation. Mr. Safreno’s previous employment at JR Robotics, Ziatech Corporation and Enter Automation provided a broad exposure to multiple industrial automation fields. Past management positions and engineering responsibilities at these companies have been cornerstone in Trust Automation’s “Can Do” culture and long term view of business and customer relations. Mr. Safreno received his formal training at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.

Trudie Safreno
Chief Financial Officer

Trudie M. Safreno, co-founder of Trust Automation, Inc., has been Chief Financial Officer for over fifteen years. During this period she was instrumental in implementing two major corporate-wide Management Resource Planning programs and is the company liaison in the operation of the Enterprise Software. Prior to her years at Trust, she was a member of an international management advisory and educational consulting firm followed by the management of three private business colleges’ financial aide programs. Trudie is on the Board of Directors of Trust Automation, Inc. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business with a concentration in Finance from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.

Brett Keegan
Chief Operating Officer

Brett Keegan is the Director, Manufacturing Engineering of Trust Automation. Since joining Trust Automation in January of 1996, Mr. Keegan has held responsibility for all manufacturing activities, including Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Process and Control and setup of new manufacturing facilities. With over 20 years of industry experience, Mr. Keegan has held multiple engineering and management positions, including developing medical implant products at Timesh, Inc. and designing mechanical packaging products for Trust Automation. Mr. Keegan implemented Trust Automation’s current ERP system, setting up material systems and company wide operations. Mr. Keegan holds a BS in Manufacturing Engineering Technology from the California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.

Eric Meader
Director, Engineering Science & Technology

Eric Meader, the Director, Engineering Science and Technology, has been with Trust Automation for more than ten years. He led the engineering group through complex analog designs of the company's Linear Amplifier product line. He is responsible for evaluating new technologies and technology directions and steering the company technology roadmap. Prior to joining Trust Automation, Mr. Meader worked at several engineering firms as a member of the engineering staff, designing complex circuits and systems. Mr. Meader's advanced education was received from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, in Electrical Engineering.

Dave Rennie
Vice President of Sales, Semiconductor, Medical, Industrial Automation

Dave Rennie is the VP of sales for the Semiconductor, Medical and Industrial Automation Markets. Since joining Trust Automation in February of 2005, Mr. Rennie has been responsible for the planning and implementation of all sales and marketing activities. With more than 25 years of experience in the electronics industry, Mr. Rennie has held management positions with a number of companies. Prior to joining Trust Automation, he served as the Director of Sales & Marketing for Gateworks Corporation and Director of US Sales for I-Bus Corporation, both firms involved in the embedded computing and communications markets. Mr. Rennie holds a BS in Electrical Engineering Technology from the California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.

Craig von Ilten
Vice President of Sales, Defense, Green Technology

Craig’s primary focus is business development for the Defense and Green Technology markets. There is a significant overlap where hybrid vehicle propulsion systems (airborne and ground) require extremely efficient, custom electronic drive solutions. Trust Automation has a great deal of talent and experience available in system solutions focused within these market spaces. His job is to refine the domestic and international sales programs and coordinate with the Sales and Marketing team to research and develop strategies to capitalize on new opportunities. Craig holds a BS in Electronic Engineering from the California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and is currently serving as the Chair for the EE Department’s Industrial Advisory Board.
